An International Tanker Owner
The role
The right person will be given the title Purchaser and Project Controller and would be responsible:
• Managing all aspects of contracts, procurement, administration & project control (cost control, logistics and planning/administration) from conceptual to commissioning & installation within the projects.
• Planning projects procurements and liaise with Project Manager, Engineering Manager and technical personnel
• Establish and follow up contracts with suppliers/sub-contractors
• Management and coordination of logistic activities within the project
• Monitoring cost and project budget, and develop cost forecasts
• Ensure Procurement and Project Control activities are executed in compliance with Client Contracts requirements, applicable rules and regulations and in accordance with Companies own internal procedures.
• Supporting the Project Manager by executing, analyzing and forecasting the ongoing project
• Organize and prepare project cost and risk reports
• Review, update and implement project procedures for the Procurement and Project Control process
• Some travel can be required, pending on Subcontractor/Client location and requirements
